Chocolate Bars
Chocolate bars are made organic and fair trade chocolate,
70% cocoa
Juniper: I love the bright flavor of Juniper. The first time I tried it in chocolate it was so good it rocked my world! Every time I eat a piece it makes me happy. I am sure once you try it you’ll enjoy it as much as I do. The Juniper berries are locally grown and lovingly harvested by Andy, Lauren and Raven of Wind Dance Farm.
Rosemary Almond with Sea Salt: I combined rosemary from my garden, toasted almonds and sea salt to create a delicious explosion of flavor. in this dark chocolate bar. As usual the chocolate I used is organic and fair trade. Ingredients: Fair trade and organic chocolate (cocoa beans, sugar, cocoa butter, lecithin), almonds, rosemary, salt .
Bad girl: I love Bad Girl Ventures and like all bad girls, this bar is bold, feminine and sassy! Sumac is used most often in middle eastern cooking. I used a native specie locally harvested. It’s tartness complements the fragrance of rose petals nicely.
Ohio Valley: In this bar I combine two Ohio Valley treasures, black walnuts and spice berry. Their boldness and fragrance is mellowed by the sweet milk chocolate for a delicious local treat. A big thank you to D.O..D. for shelling the walnuts!
Noire:Think chocolate covered coffee beans but in a bar with cocoa nibs, Yum! To make this coffee lover’s dream bar I use Coffee Emporium’s Ethiopian Amaro Gayo. These rich, sweet and chocolaty beans blend perfectly with the bold cocoa nibs
Hot Southern Nut: A little heat, a little sugar, a little nut, an amazing chocolate bar! The sweet caramel, toasted pecans, and heat of local chili powder combine to create an amzing sensory experience.
Sea Salt and Almonds: This really started with request for my “Rosemary Almond” bar without the Rosemary. It quickly became very popular so I am happy to offer it to every one. Toasted almonds and fine “pearls “of salt from the sea of Afar combine to create a delicious explosion of flavor
